Chameleon

Cloud computing testbed for cloud architecture and applications

To help investigate and develop the promising cloud computing future, the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded this $10 million cloud system, an experimental testbed for cloud architecture and applications, in conjunction with the University of Chicago. This system enables the academic research community to develop and experiment with novel cloud architectures and pursue new, architecturally-enabled applications of cloud computing, specifically for the computer science domain. This is TACC's first system focused on ‘computer science' research.
