Public Policy on Corral

Child and Family Research Partnership

The Child and Family Research Partnership (CFRP) is an independent research group at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in research and evaluation work aimed at strengthening families and enhancing public policy. CFRP conducts a full range of qualitative and quantitative research in the areas of child support, early childhood, family instability, home visiting, adolescent development, and public education policy.

A researcher from CFRP uses STATA, a statistical software program, to analyze data in order to enhance public policy and strengthen families.

"The faculty and staff of CFRP have been working with TACC and storing data on Corral for several years due to its high level of data security. With Corral, researchers are able to store personal, confidential data in the most secure manner while allowing for practical access for in-depth data analysis."
