Planning and development of strategic partnerships in support of National Defense objectives which are linked to world class educators and researchers to address complex issues, with a cybersecurity focus. Ms. Weese leads a group of academia researchers, students and staff in solving immediate issues related to a variety of complex problems faced by our nation and our military.

Ms. Weese is a former Government Senior Executive in the U.S. Army, Defense Industrial Base, and a Department of Defense certified Chief Information Officer with numerous assignments to include the Pentagon, Washington DC, Army CIO G6, Ft Belvoir, VA, and NETCOM at Ft Huachuca AZ. Prior to 30 years as a government civilian. Ms. Weese served 14 years as a paralegal is the US Air Force.

After leaving the government she worked the cybersecurity for the Army Recreation Machine Program which manages the slot machine network in Europe and the Pacific for both the Army and Navy before coming to The University of Texas at Austin. Since her arrival at UT, she has obtained a subcontract to support Professors, Graduate Students, Undergraduate Students and Staff to take their classroom learning, experience and intellectual power to apply to practical issues and hone their skills in preparation for entering the global job market. Her teams are recognized as a quick response cell that adds value and offers solutions to immediate issues pressing operational organizations. Future work in the design proposal process for an Army MEDCOM project to globalize statistic predictive analysis for abuse cases to be managed in a cloud environment by DOD.
