Jordyn moved to Austin, Texas in 2016 to pursue a Master of Public Health, during which she completed a practicum with the Department of Women's Health at Dell Medical School, where she aided in the creation of a unified database of CDC vital statistics data. Jordyn started working with the Department of Women's Health thereafter to provide part-time statistical support for resident and faculty research.

Jordyn joined TACC in 2019 as a Research Engineer in the Health Analytics group. She works closely with the Department of Women's Health Data Science Group in the area of data warehousing architecture as well as with other initiatives including risk communication and virtual reality in health. Jordyn conducts user support, research and development in health-related applications including statistics, data analysis, visualization, virtual environments, and epidemiology.

Jordyn provides support for Dell Medical School residents and faculty by assisting with the design and statistical analyses for research studies. She performs both small and large-scale data management including data collation, cleaning, construction of computed variables, and assistance with creation of health data architecture.
