UPCOMING WETEACH_CS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & WEBINARS
As we wrap up 2020 this month and head into 2021, we'd like to highlight the numerous virtual events we will be holding in the winter and spring. Space on some training sessions is limited, so sign up now!
From December 7-13, Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) provides an opportunity to raise awareness about the impact of computing, the richness of computing careers, and the critical need for computer science (CS) education. CSEdWeek is a call to action to inspire students and colleagues about CS education, to employ new and better strategies for engagement, and to connect with the broader community around the need for and value of CS education.
GET SOCIAL WITH WETEACH_CS DURING COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION WEEK
Computer Science Education Week is in early December so that it always aligns with Grace Hopper's birthday. And, what's a birthday without presents? From Sunday, December 6th through Sunday December 13th, if you engage with us on social media you will be entered into a raffle to win a free ticket to the 2021 WeTeach_CS Summit! We'll give this prize away to two lucky winners.
So how do you enter? Like, reshare, or comment on any WeTeach_CS social media post that we send out between Sunday, December 6th through Sunday December 13th. We'll do a random drawing on Monday, December 14th and pick the two winners. To make sure you're ready to participate, Like us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter.
