Request free micro:bits now!Pathfinders created Project Trix: 8 new cross-curricular projects for the micro:bit and are offering the first 500 eligible teachers a free Club pack of micro:bits. A Club pack includes 10 micro:bits, 10 USB cables, 10 battery packs, and batteries which will be mailed to educators free of charge. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

CSTA opens registration for teacher, student eventsThe Computer Science Teachers Association has two events open for registration: Texas CSTA Chapters Conference 2022 (for educators) and Digital Divas 2022 (for students). Submit your application for the Research Experiences for Teachers Program!The NASCENT Engineering Research Center and the Center for Dynamics and Control MRSEC at The University of Texas at Austin are recruiting upper elementary, middle- and high-school STEM teachers for their summer Research Experiences for Teachers Program. STEM teachers will participate in a 5½-week program where they work alongside faculty and graduate students, participating in graduate-level research projects within the field of engineering, physics, chemistry, and materials science. Teachers will receive a $5,500 stipend for their participation plus an additional $1,500 with the creation, test, and implementation of the lesson in the classroom and up to $1,500 in supply allowance to purchase classroom supplies/equipment that supports their engineering-based lesson.
