Ruth Tirado started working for The Texas Advanced Computing Center in October 2008 as an Operating Systems Specialist in the Center Operations and Administration group. She helps to maintain the Microsoft Windows XP Environment, and aids in maintenance of the Microsoft Windows 2003 Server. She supports operating systems programming, planning & implementing server security. She is also a MCSE with Securities. Before coming to TACC, she worked for The City of Round Rock Public Safety Service in the IT department. Ruth also served in the Army for seven years, four of which were active duty.
