Rion joined TACC in March 2006 as a contributing developer to the GridChem project. Since then, he has contributed to a wide range of projects providing Web, Mobile, Desktop, Cloud, and HPC solutions to the national research community. Rion is currently leading the Web and Cloud Services group at TACC. His active projects include development of the iPlant Foundation API and the AGAVE project, and the Distributed Web Security for Science Gateways. Prior to joining TACC, Rion was an IT Analyst at the Center for Computation & Technology at LSU where he and earned his Ph.D. In 2004.
