Rebeka joined the Texas Advanced Computing Center in May 2004. In her current role as senior development officer, Rebeka works closely with the center's leadership in implementing a complete funding strategy. She identifies and interacts with potential funding sources, including individuals, corporations and foundations, to ensure that TACC remains funded at an appropriate level to push the boundaries of advanced computing technologies.
Previously, Rebeka served as community outreach coordinator, where she was responsible for initiating, managing, and executing a comprehensive program of activities that contribute to informing the public about the Center and the importance of advanced computing technologies in society. The goal of these efforts is to develop relationships and partnerships with new communities that enable them to benefit from TACC resources and technologies without having to develop significant computational expertise.
