Karla is a research engineer in the Data and Information Analysis group. Her responsibilities include to research, develop, perform and support activities involving advanced scientific visualization techniques and technologies.
Karla joined the Texas Advanced Computing Center in 2010 after finishing a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Karla previously worked at the Spaces Sciences Laboratory, UC- Berkeley as a graduate student researcher and at TACC as an undergraduate and graduate research assistant.
