This image shows the proximity of working relationships between the director and his colleagues at a non-profit organization. The relationships were induced from averaging the similarities between every business record written and co-written by the director and each of his colleagues during a given year. Text mining methods and visualizations such as this are vital tools for extracting knowledge and making sense of digital records for the twenty-first century and beyond. |
