STUDENT GRANTS
Students who are US citizens or attending US universities/institutions are encouraged to apply for grants which will cover registration and defray travel and hotel costs. Awards are based on students' experience, activity, and interest in the field of cluster and high-performance computing. Preference will be given to those students presenting posters or papers, but we expect enough funding for awards to students who are interested in attending the IEEE Cluster programs.
PROGRAM
Keynote talks will be delivered by Thomas Sterling, Louisiana State University; Yang XueJun and Liu GuangMing, National University of Defense Technology (China) and the National Security Council (China); and Charles Moore, Advanced Micro Devices.
Program includes: 40 technical papers, 3 workshops, 3 panels, 6 tutorials, poster session, social activity - live music in downtown Austin!
EARLY REGISTRATION
The early registration deadline for IEEE Cluster 2011 is Wednesday, August 17. Costs vary for IEEE members and students. Student early registration has been extended to August 31st.
SPECIAL RATE ROOM BLOCK open until SEPTEMBER 2nd
A block of rooms is available for IEEE Cluster attendees at the Hilton Austin. Reservations must be received on or before September 2nd to receive the special rate. The IEEE Cluster 2011 group code is: IEE.
