Powering Discoveries: Past, Present & Future

The "TACC 10th Anniversary Celebration and Colloquium" took place on Friday, June 24, at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus. Many of TACC's partners, colleagues, users, and supporters shared in this achievement as the center celebrated 10 years of enabling scientific discoveries and advanced computing achievements. The event focused on three themes: TACC's Past, Present, and Future. The Past included viewing a 10-year timeline of significant events and an interview with Jay Boisseau about the center's history; the Present consisted of system tours, science talks about current research, demos, and a visualization lounge; and the Future showcased an expert panel of HPC leaders discussing their vision for the next 10 years of HPC.
