Board of Visitors

With the rapid developments in advanced computing technologies and their adoption in all fields of science, it is crucial that TACC is accurately guided by the needs of science and society to ensure that we achieve the greatest possible success. Therefore, we have assembled a Board of Visitors to help guide the center in the next phase of its growth.

The BoV members will help the center director and leadership team guide the evolution of TACC's vision and strategy, and will help guide the execution of center initiatives. BoV members will support the mission of TACC by:

  1. identifying and recommending new opportunities and initiatives in advanced computational research & development, including technologies, applications, and partnerships;

  2. contributing experience and guidance that enhance TACC's overall growth in expertise and professional development; and

  3. reviewing the existing activities of the center and providing constructive suggestions for enhancing impact and effectiveness.

The TACC Board of Visitors has eight charter members who have been appointed to a two-year term with the option of reappointment at the end of each term. We look forward to working with them to expand TACC’s reach in the community, and enhance our impact on science, technology and society.
